This section is dedicated to profiling the experiences of our readers with the products associated with James B. Lansing (i.e. products from Lansing Manufacturing, Altec Lansing, and JBL). The intent is to share knowledge and experience and develop a visual record of historic items.

Everyone is encouraged to participate. This can be done by sending an email to [email protected] with scanned photos and a written description. Information on scanning and transmitting images can be found here.  The description will be published with the scanned images and should be written accordingly.  If you are profiling an entire system, you should document how and why you arrived at your particular solution and what you perceive to be its strengths and weaknesses.

There are a wide range of subjects that can be considered for this section. "Do-it-yourself" projects are of particular interest, including those based on recent JBL "Tent Sale" items. Other subjects can include modern home theaters, unique one-off speakers, rare individual drivers, pristine or restored examples of classic systems, etc.  If you have any questions, send an email to the above address.

For now, six reader photo profiles have been posted. Click on a thumbnail to be taken to a page that describes the system or product in detail.
