Thanks Ian
Will do. I do have a question. In the above post you recommend using a new D8R2425 diaphragm. Speaker Exchange also has the D16R2425 I believe the original In the L300 documentation it has the D16R2425 as the substitute. I did order the D16R2425. Is this correct as the passive crossovers are looking at 16 ohm load?
I saw a video of Steve Guttenberg interviewing Andrew Jones entitled "Measurements won't tell us if we'll like the sound of the music". Very informative. As you have stated above although measurements are important, there is also an art to get the speakers to sound right.
Thanks

Thanks Rob
I already had that document saved. It references a 2425J as the replacement for the LE85. I was just curious about the D8R2425 as there might be something I did not know such as if the there was a bad batch of diaphragms or something else had changed.

Sorry that diaphragm reference was my mistake.
(If you do implement a fully active three way system permanently the impedance of the compression driver is no really relevant).

No worries. As you said in digital domain it would not matter, but if wanted to return to the passives it would be relevant. As always I appreciate your help and guidance.
