4502 enclosures - 3420 Control Monitors
Here is the info on the two monitors I bought in Philly Feb 2006. The seller said he'd had them 13 years and bought them from his brother's friend - from NJ.
They are 2-way systems - but I am adding 2405 drivers to extended the frequency response and improve the sound.
There were no grills and nothing that said "Model 3420" but I gather thats what they are. The cabinets are plywood with walnut veneer. I didn't get the serial number of the horns (Model 2307), just the driver info.
======= box 1 ============
4502 Enclosure s/n 11275
3110 Crossover s/n 1478
2215 15" woofer s/n 2180
2420 MF driver s/n 1731
2405 HF driver s/n 62198 (new to unit)
======= box 2 ============
4502 Enclosure s/n 11165
3110 Crossover s/n 1326
2215 15" woofer s/n 1566
2420 MF driver s/n 2193
2405 HF driver s/n 61269 (new to unit)
========================
There are also a pair of plastic lenses that came with them,
2308 Lens s/n 10085
2308 Lens s/n 10582
They weren't mounted when I got them and I'm not sure if they're original
Once I get the slot tweeters installed and update the crossovers,
I hope to put them on top of the shelves where the L36s are now.
========================
I hope this helps the list .
Thanks for all the info you provide US!!
I would NEVER have dreamed of or even started such a project without all the legacy info on this site!

A recent addition to the collection...
Metregon C45 Serial #457 (Dark Walnut?) (I am the 3rd owner)
Series 205 (that looks like it's new)
130A's (never been removed so no numbers)
275 (serial #539 one side (only) has been opened)
N600s (1422 & 1425) these have been bypassed with
N-800-Ds (which have no serial numbers, if so... I'm needing info on where the #'s are located)
Made in 1960 (just a guess but garnered from available paperwork from this forum. Thank You ;)
