Yeah, his 43XX project looks delectable. In the L112 mods he basically redesigns the filters to decrease the overlap of the elements and decrease the lobes in the mids. Serious mods that no doubt...

I just read Troels Gravesen articles on modifying the L112 crossovers (http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/JBL-L112.htm), to clean up the midrange lobbing and muddling of the mids by the woofers and...

Alive! alive and living in Wisconsin. Beginning to play with my JBL hoard again. A lot of it is still packed up from the move 11 years ago.
Ive missed the old guard and carrying on about JBL dreams.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!" (insert a meme of the weasel from Foghorn Leghorn here)
I am interested in these circuits also. I only need the top half (2122H, 2307/2308/2425, 2405). I have built a center channel box (without a crossover) but not tested it. It has two 2122s. I hope...
Cool, I am building another track for my boy, not that nice, but we love 1/32 scale racing.
Joni Mitchell, Court and Spark, Ben Webster meets Ike Quebec (both at the same time). It took me a while to transition. I held on to vinyl.
I may have a nice used unit you can have for $20 plus shipping. PM me. Andre
I would love to get into this too as I build my psuedo 434X mutant Home theatre system.
What is that thing he is holding, It looks like a prop piece from the movie "The Planet of the Vampires".
I will be there as well.
I have had great customer service there as well. Availability of manuals is superb. They are local for me also, I picked up everything at will call

I should be able to make it also.
I tried using a thrift store bought entire house vacuum. A really big vacuum mounted in the wall with hoses that run everywhere. didnt work. The filter plugs instantly with mdf. Wet dry vacs arent...
Have you had trouble finding the solvent based Weldwood lately. The last time I went to buy it in SoCal the shops only had the water based stuff. Also I am interested in what kind of veneer press...
I guess its easier to build baffles if you dont need to cut the sheets of wood:D
I have a beat up one I could send you. PM me if interested
I am looking into getting the caps for this circuit and will be checking with E Speaker.com soon. Has anyone tried ordering Clarity Caps from them yet?

The handwriting on that note sure looks like the handwriting on that schematic. The word "proto" is almost the same as well as the G.T. It doesnt look like it is marked as an xpl prototype but some...
G.T., Greg Timbers? Cool cabinets.
I did the similar thing building a pair from components and parts. Love that speaker.
Its an opportunity to practice my cabinet making skills as well. I got to reveneer one end this afternoon, 1/32 short on one cut. Overlapped and cleaned up with a router this time. The smile is...
I am using two 2122Hs, a 2425j/2307/2308 and a 2105H. A primary design concern for me is WAF, I attempte to place the woofers together as closely as poossible and still acommodate the 2308. I...
