Thanks too the Admins for their work!
They seem to be following the same path that was used with the Altec name where they are attaching the JBL name with lower end products, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, ear buds. I remember when we...
+1 on the thanks for the update.
After he thankfully recovered from covid he told me it would be a few weeks. His work is said to be the best, common courtesy is nonexistent when he refuses to take 1-2 minutes to respond to one of...
We all have been hit with a lot of work in our lives, we understand he is a one-man show. In my case, completely blowing off and ignoring a customer who he estimated it would take "a few weeks" to...
Thanks for the potential method to contact him, but he is simply not responding. Here is the information on the message I sent him via this forum: Sent Date: 12-04-2022 03:05 PM Read Date:...
The driver I sent him was to have a spare, it does not take an L100 out of service. I wanted it repaired based on his great reputation (former).
This is a post I did not want to make, I have seen a number of posts here on Ken at Upland not responding after many months, in my case I sent him a 123a from an L100 in October 2021. Emails,...

IMHO, One on one for business issues, not in public forums.
We are lucky that Ken is servicing JBL gear, If I didn't live 1500 miles from his location I would see if I could help out, sweep floors run for burgers.
By the way, where is my stuff....:D
Information like this is yet another reason why this site is such a great resource.
My opinion was on the L100-4310-4311 & 4312.
If you did a blind test I bet most could not tell the difference. I know I could not.
I have always wondered if the sound is impacted by a damaged dust cover like pictured, they don't look good but does it really impact the sound?
The XLi 800 has been working great I am impressed I haven't really pushed it, but I located a XLi 2500 so bought it.
Love that horn and the other horns on Joseph Crowe's site
A local store had an XLI800 in stock, so I picked it up, if the 1500 or 2500's ever are restocked I will buy one or two..
Yes it does belong.
I thankfully saw Frank Zappa in concert a few times and Frank put out some great music mixed with memorable lyrics.
Movin' to Montana soon
Gonna be a Dental Floss tycoon...
This guy makes JBL and other assorted reproduction stereo logo items.

Nice video on a 123a-1 recone
The model noted here is a "4312I" I cant find a 4312I.
I picked up a pair of 4312s some years ago missing one of the midrange drivers and both now have LE5-2s. The 4311 and original 4312s have the...
When JBL announced the deposition process I talked to a JBL retail rep and they were very proud of the process.
Given the amount dented domes out there aftermarket replacements might sell a few...
Is that a JBL factory dome?
I know I love my JBL's but I am not as well versed with JBL as many here which is why this site is a great resource.
The photo below are the only 066s I have ever...
Was there someone doing 066 aftermarket repairs at one time? Glued a dome over a dented dome?
Odd looking.

It will have to wait since it seems they are all yet to be manufactured or in container ships on the Pacific Ocean.
