There are many roads to audio nirvana. Went through this exercise with a friend and ended up doing custom 620 cabinets for his Altec 605B.
The C50 have 2405, LE85 on DIY 2397 and LE15A with passive radiator.
Altec 802-8G on a 511B horn, JBL 077 for high end and JBL 2235H handing bass duty.
The C50 Olympus with the custom Smith Horns are still around too.
Which brings us to today. A lot of gear has rolled through over the last decade but "The Widgets" always remain.
This system has always been evolving.
