Database error message at 7am.
Got in just fine at 9am.
No rhyme or reason, apparently?
Thanks to those who keep the faith while working on the problems!
Today I've been able to get in three times but got the error message twice in between those three successes. Weird!
This is the first time I've been able to access the site for several days.
We don't know how much we miss you until you're gone! ;)
First time I've been able to access this site in days.
Thanks! :)
But now I find I'm unable to post this reply without the security message.
I've seen worse! :dont-know:
Depending on what you're looking for, these links might help: https://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?10661-JBL-Consumer-Tech-Sheet-Links
Thanks for the tip. I'll have to see if this product is available in USA. :dont-know:
Meaning the guessing game? They almost never pick the LSR305 as the one playing, but then they have yet to hear the others at that point, so . . .
This has nothing to do with how engineering expertise relates to sales, and is just my own uneducated opinion as a lifetime JBL owner, in reaction to Ian's take on Sean's interview.
I bought the...
This popped up in my mailbox yesterday. I'd forgotten I'd placed a pre-order with Amazon after hearing Eric's track as a guest artist on Lúnasa's album (after working their show here a few weeks ago....
Someone on FB was asking if anyone would be interested in dropping off their L300 for these guys to come up with a mod. Apparently the poster was too far away to supply his own pair but was...
Looks like a bunch of guys with instruments selling $400 power cables who never found a speaker they couldn't make look better on paper? For the price of their 4311 kit you could own several 4412A...
Have you tried an email to Rick? He's normally very responsive and has always offered expert guidance: Rick Cobb <[email protected]>
I've taken them apart myself (out of necessity) but haven't found a replacement foam part short of amputating the tops off egg-crate foam packing material.
Taking them apart was not the hard part! ...
Yes, that photo was from Amazon. But the ones I have look just like that and say:
Designed by Apple in California
Assembled in China Model A1468
Works perfectly. Don't know if they still...
I know you would know, but won't something like this work? That's what I use to put my phone in the TEAC CD player drawer?

I won't say I didn't enjoy seeing Greg get the exposure he deserves. Apologies for focusing on the negative. I should have realized the backlash being a discontent among all the discontents here...
Certainly a good point. I did get what I paid for.
I don't suffer know-it-alls with little knowledge very well! Possibly because I am one, too?
Most likely because of this thread:
I used my original iPod Classic 160GB "Last" version today while working on a much older car in the garage. Had it plugged-in to some Harman boom-box that I'd...
Don't make excuses for the unprofessional behavior of the interviewer.
If you know anything about the subject of your interview, you owe it to yourself and your chosen role to know as much as you...
My first iPod ever was a Classic 160GB. I loved it so much that when Apple dropped it, the next day I went looking for new ones as backup. That was years ago and the two I found are still in their...
Yeah, in the first interview, Greg showed him his current speakers and that's where the interviewer asked how he came up with the asymmetrical design and Greg mentioned the 250.
Second interview...
I am only able to take just so much of the interviewer!
In the first interview I laughed because he didn't know any asymmetrical JBL models and had never heard of a 250.
You may have noticed...
