4430 Maintenance ?

Wow what a fantastic site.! Been reading threads for three days now and have a question. This month makes 15 years with these speakers and am wondering if there is anything I should do maint. wise ?Thank You

We just had a thread about diaphram longevity. Do they have 2421's or 2425's??? That might be a start. It can expensive, but you can always keep them as spares as the prices sure as hell won't be going down. Asside from that how are the surrounds on the woofers holding up?? Pot's OK??

Thank's Rob, 2425's and far as I can tell they are fine.Now I will probably have the surrounds done ,they look alright but......

For the cabinets, keep feeding them oil. About once every year is about right. Just about any resonable product will do. Just don't let the wood dry out. I guess this goes for any speaker with an oiled natural wood finish.
