While being at it, I made dollys for the speakers. These beast are heavy...
As stated at the beginning of this thread, the short term objective was to build two (or four) big monitors JIT for a demo today held at the company's listening room. (This was a private initiative of mine, and the construction entirely an after-hours activity, albeit at the company's premises.)
Here I am, cutting MDF for the throat plates. (Yes, my colleagues are used to my eccentric behaviour)
Even though most drivers were not even mounted, I rolled in the cabinets just to show them. They are indeed a nice piece of conversation, also in silent mode
Sorry about the bad pic (I've been busy building speakers you know...) ETA for fire up is Friday.
