I’m a big fan of the 60’s mid century designs put out by JBL. Having grabbed some good pictures of the C41 Angelus off an auction, I decided to have a go at reproducing my own.

I scaled up some measurements from the photos and basically arrived at a box: 5 3/4 h, 14 w, and 4 7/8 deep. The tricky part is the pushed in face, which I have at about 9/16 inches in at the center. I used ½ inch 9 ply plywood for the housing, covered in walnut veneer left over from some previous projects.
The little feet are 1 inch high and I tapered them myself on a wood lathe starting with ½ in round aluminum rod.
The crossover is an N7000 I rebuilt with all new caps, coils and l-pads.
