I think they work really good . I have tried them with a bridged Crown K2 on each (4x4) and it´s no problem to move stuff in my apartment .
The sound is very clean and a huge attack then they hit.

You suck! That is an awesome DIY absolutely brilliant top marks, so are you replicating sound system of the Empire Leicester square with all those subs. They look like there based on the JBL 4645C THX

So what was the cost of the MDF in UK English pounds conversion?

I absolutely like the sound and feel of the JBL 2242 at the Empire with the stack of x16 4645 clusters, hits you uniformly from the lowest to the highest range in the sub bass frequency response, with 120dbc peaks and not one single rattling sound or any signs of bottoming out.

Maybe he was blown away! Literally!

Is that a JBL 6260 amplifier I see hiding off to the left. I see I see that port is 8” wide wow magnificent, tell you what pop on over I wouldn’t mind do a few more DIY enclosures like those wicked, UK MDF is cheep as biscuits. WOW MEGA WOW, I like it.

That port is a 6" wide. The amp is a 6230. Yes it´s fun when people show their diy work.

Strange I was off by a few inches and thou I’ve only seen a few pictures of the JBL amplifiers I was close. Yeah more pictures more because I get really turned on looking at diy designs of subs. So how many have you’ve finished or are still knocking up there other set of subs?

Hmm, where did you get the port because I’ve noticed in JBL specifications of speaker’s “ports not for sale” hmm why?

Don’t the bass mid to sub bass drivers usually have a rubber ring that goes around the magnet structure?
