    Bubbling Veneer

One of my recently acquired 4430's has a fairly prominent bubble in the top veneer, about 2-3" long. It looks like they have never been oiled and may have been exposed to moisture at some time.

Has this happened to anyone? I am pondering how best to try fixing it or maybe just leave it alone.

This problem has recently been discussed, and with lots of valuable information from Gary L, Widget and others.
