Goodness! Some really excellent work involved there with a beautiful result. Thanks for posting that.

Weren't there some left-over cabinets sold off by a Danish company a while back?
I recall various states of finish, unfinished and un-veneered.
Those are the DD66000 cabinets built in Denmark that were shipped from the vendor over to JBL Northridge in huge crates for finishing and final assembly into DD66000s. It looks like the poster got his hands on the cabinets (leftovers of which, IIRC, were offered for sale when the DD66000 was discontinued), the port assembly, horn flares, tweeter housing and the other necessary structural elements and is assembling them the same way we did in Northridge. I seriously doubt that he built those from scratch, which would take the original computer plans and some major-league CNC machinery.
I can translate. Yes, there were some unfinished cabinets for sale from the danish factory, some time ago.
It is original DD65000 boxes. He (Terje), adapted it to the newer DD66000/DD67000 horn profile.
The UHF horn is consequently adapted to the new HF horn.
Parts he will use:
UHF: 045Be-1
HF: 476Be
LF: 1501AL1
Crossover: Original from DD66000
This was previously my parts, original cabinet from Hornslet, original speakers and crossover from DD66000.
The horn was made in Germany but unfortunately it showed poor fitting, so Terje have made lot of work to make it fit to the cabinet. THere are several similar Projects in Norway With the same cabinets but I think this is the most Complete. There are also as least one set in Denmark that have been completed With all OEM parts.
Very nice!
Thanks for sharing.
