    Data Base Error

Has anyone else had an issue where when they went to Log In they got a screen that read Data Base Error?

So what's going on with maintenance and this forum?

Is anyone looking into this or are we going to wait until the error message becomes permanent?

Then what do we loose 20 years of posts and knowledge?

Working to get the license credentials for vBulletin. Once I have that, I can login to vB and pay to have the site upgraded to the latest version.

Probably best to keep details of site upgrades behind the public face of the site, otherwise hackers may hit it harder.

First time I've been able to access this site in days.

    Thanks!

But now I find I'm unable to post this reply without the security message.

    Hi Rob,

I tried this morning on the same prior email notification of this thread and it didn’t work displaying the same error message on the first attempt.

So l deleted the old prior LHS saved passwords in my iPhone in case that was the issue and then re attempted to login via the email notification and was logged in successfully. In other words the site login process remembered my login password via the email notification. So that worked after a second attempt.

The old saved passwords in my iPhone may not be root cause and just a co incidence.

Incidentally if anyone does wipe or forget their password when logging in without an email notification and you find yourself locked out l recommend you contact Luther at via a registration on AK and send a message for a new password. I obtained a new password that way. (I have since forgotten it …Lol).
