    JBL L112's

Do I need to use stands with these for optimal results? If so, how high, and given their relatively complex crossover design, how different will they sound compared to the L36?

I would think that if you could get the tweeter aimed at ear level that would be the best to my ears.

That I know, but just wondering what you guys have done with these speakers, as I don't have them yet./ Any ideas about how they will compare to my L36's?

Slightly greater bandwidth, better power handling with the L112. The L112 doesn't like alot of boundary reinforcement so - up off the floor and out away from corners - unless of course you like loading it up. Some people do. The L96 and L112 use the more expensive LF and HF transducers than the Decade series. To be fair, the older Decade series performed as designed at the price points they were set at.
