Hi All.

Long- time no post

Hope you're all well.

I made my TAD copies a few years ago, and have been enjoying them since.

I've had them open a few times, and played with the wadding materials.

I'd like to try replacing the long-haired-wool with the traditional JBL / TAD ''fibreglass'' wadding.

I'm a little (more than a little) concerned about breathing the fibres, so would like to 'coat' the wadding with somethign like glue to keep the fibres where I want them .. any advice on this aspect appreciated also.

.....Anyway... in the UK, generally you don't get fibreglass for this purpose any more. I don't know why. Usual stores (anything hifi related) just doesn't sell fibreglass for loudspeaker damping.

I have found the link below, and they seem to sell fibreglass of different types for reasonable prices.

I wondered if someone who is very familiar with the type of fibreglass wadding used by JBL / TAD etc would help me 'shop' for the right product?

They sell a lot of stuff, and I want of course to get the closest thing.

Here's the E-store -

The particular page the link takes you to is what I am guessing is the closest thing, but I've never seen the real-deal, so I'm poking around in the dark.

Thanks guys.
Cheers

Chris
