    Response 2426, 2435

Couldn't resist to measure the 2435

Red: 2426 / 2344 with 4435 crossover set to zero. Don't know where these two peaks come from. Brandnew diaphragm installed, this might be the reason.
Blue: 2435 / PH 316 with modificated 4435 crossover. Looks good!

    hi guido,

    the curves look very nice!

what is the PH 316 you are using with the 2435? Is it the P-Audio horn? I am still waiting for my PT-H1010HF horns to match my 2435's

currently I am using the 2344/2420 and I am very curious to what the 2435 is capable of.

Yes it's the P-Audio. It's not as good as the 2344. I would say 80°x80°. But I'll try to narrow the slot to improve it.
Today I drilled holes in the cabinets and didn't forget to drill holes for the PT-H1010HF as well. I'll check both combinations
    a) 2435/PH316
    b) 2435/PT-H....
Until now I didn't play music through the 2435. I'm very excited about this. The curve looks so smooooth

    Zilch!

    blue curve shows

    2435
    plus
    PH316
    plus
    modificated 4435 network

to be tested compared to 2426 + 2344 + original 4435 crossover (red curve)

Hopefully I'll finish the 4435 this weekend.

Yup. When I tried that, it was obvious PT-H1010 had much better pattern control, so I shelved the PH-316's. They worked better rotated 90° (the "hourglass" orientation); I don't consider the vertical dispersion so important, but they do look weird that way:

Wanna see your PT-H results, of course, with both driver/crossover combos.

[AM HF drives 2426H nicely on PT-H1010 w/JBL throat adapter....]

Hey Guido! ... Can you hear the doorbell? ... No? ... Well maybe later this year you will. Guess who will be on your doorstep.
