I just talked with my dad and we have prior engagements on Saturday.

However, we can be there about 1pm or 2pm at the latest.

    Is that fine?

We can either start then, or we will be a tad late.

    -Storm

And yes, I will bring my speakers.

Are you going to start without us or wait until 2pm?

    Let me know either way.

    Thanks.

Let's put that on the list for our listening test team to evaluate!

I'd say, if you're gonna swap out the woofers, you want retuning options available, which would necessitate converting to ducted. I'd have trouble determining the stock tuning of the originals by calculation. Measurement would be much easier....

Lisa and I were trying to get there, also, but the airfare is just too high for us right now.

Jack, would you allow us to come down at another time to meet other members, and play with old speakers? Myrna and yourself sound like wonderful folk!

Yes, I am interested in the 846 model A and model B comparo! Please keep us advised.

Pictures of this comparo are mandatory to prove that it happened.

    Thanks,

    Scott.

Yep, I am bringing my camera - if that is OK with Jack.

How much was airfare into Prescott? You could always fly into Phoenix and driving to Prescott - only an hour drive.

Jack, how long can we do this testing? I would love to stay all day.

Bring your camera along, no problem. Myrna plans to be gone until roughly 5 PM, so we ought to be wrapping things up by then, if possible. If she likes the music, longer may work.

What is your idea of "all day?"

Until 5pm sounds great to me. That is what I meant all day. I just did not want to be rushed --- say only an hour or listening or two.

Should I bring my stands for them, or no?

I so wish Zilch could come...

I seem to recall that you once posted that you have 4412's and vals and preferred the 4412s ? Is that still correct ?

    Dear Mr. Z,

I didn't say anything regarding changing out woofers.

Just merely does the A model sound more pleasing than the B, or vice a versa. If so, I can easily port and duct the A cab the same as a B with the port and duct length mentioned above.

Sorry, but I am not literate when it comes to graph reading.
