Hello everybody,
after using analog equipment for my whole life I bought my first DSP to replace my Ashly XR1000 crossover. This one costs only € 300.00 ($ 330.00) and is made in Germany. And the best: it comes with software for MacOs ! I spend the whole evening sitting in my chair, listening to music and controlling the DSP with my Macbook. Filters can be adjusted by simply moving the icon with the cusor in every direction (gain and frequency) and you can listen in real time to the changes. There are windows for volume settings, crossover frequencies and filter types and output filter settings.I was surprised of the very good sound quality.
The DSP-26 specs:
2 inputs, 6 outputs
2 way stereo or 3-way stereo crossover, 6-way mono
crossover types Bessel, Butterworth, Linkwitz, 6-24dB
for each output 10 filters, each selectable: all pass, hi pass, lo pass, band pass, bell, notch, hi shelf, lo shelf
delay and limiter in each input or output
