If you search JBL Selenium there seem to be a number of resellers stocking Selenium parts.

On the who’s still with JBL you can find this out via a search of Harman or JBL transducer engineers via Google.

Doug Button is now with Sonos. Jerry Moro is with Samsung. Balazs Kakonyi is Principal Engineer, Transducers at JBL
Professional - Transducer Engineering | Acoustic
Systems Engineering | Signal Processing. Alex Vioshvillo is with Harman Professional Solutions.

I think the perception is really more anyhow Samsung have structured the business. Harman Luxury Group have their own product development team who have been steadily introducing new products via market research. You can find out more about this by Google Harman Luxury Group. They certainly have a powerhouse of professional talent .

Time will tell but maybe it will work out WRT marketing. It would be nice if JBL speakers became as accessible as Samsung TV's are. Would at least like to see them back in Best Buy as an example.

I counted the L52 in nine HiFi retail outlets over here. Less so with the Synthesis range. There are dozens of HiFi retailers over here selling everything from a Project TT to mega $$ Kef blade and McIntosh. JBL is a split brand and retailers pick and choose what they stock because delivery is not always reliable.

The pro range and studio ranges are distributed via dozens of DJ and pro music outlets.
