The following article describes a loudspeaker column designed, built and tested as a proof-of-concept demonstration by Drew Daniels, Senior Technical Staff member of Walt Disney Imagineering R&D department and electroacoustical consultant to the Walt Disney Company, February-March of 1990.

Some of the equipment used in the demonstration system is no longer available. Drew managed to update the article to be current to 1997 by adding relevant side notes. Further updates will follow at a later date. For now, fasten your seatbelts for a real sonic adventure.
